Inclusion Coaching

The aim for every organisation is to embed equality as a practice. That is to make equality the way leaders lead, employees behave, and workplaces work. Becoming aware of inequality and understanding how this creates challenges for all employees engages leaders to take action.

Our inclusive coaching enables leaders and DEI professionals to embed equality within their teams, departments and organisation.

Leadership
Inclusion Coaching

Leadership inclusion coaching enables individuals to examine their most deep-seated beliefs about inequality.

Coaching sessions may consist of one-on-one sessions, observations, prepping the participant for meetings, observing communications, and more. Coaching requires bravery, honesty, and a genuine desire to practise inclusion. Through a series of one-on-one sessions, coaches partner with executives and other professionals to help them go deep within themselves, reflect on unconscious biases, make conscious choices to become more inclusive, and take courageous actions to create cultures where employees can be themselves and feel valued for that.

Inclusion Coaching enables leaders to become aware of their beliefs, biases and behaviours that enable inequality to take hold at work. Through one-on-one coaching sessions leaders discover how to make conscious decisions and take action to become more inclusive, and make their organisations more equitable.

According to the International Coach Federation, organisations with high-impact coaching programs are more likely to see greater staff engagement and retention, as well as increased revenue.

During the six-month program duration (six hours total), the executive inclusion coach will work with individual leaders to develop a clear set of goals to move the client along their inclusive leadership journey. Each session will be designed to fully support the participant in whatever goals they have identified from the assessment, report, and feedback session, which they believe will move their leadership to the next level.

DEI Coaching

A common challenge when designing diversity and inclusion interventions is knowing where to start. Diversity and inclusion issues can present themselves in many ways, so knowing what to fix can seem difficult or even impossible – and the result can sometimes be practices or interventions that are disconnected or even ineffective.

We focus on enabling diversity and inclusion teams to design evidence-based strategies and practices. We provide a safe space for participants to reflect, review, and explore how they are taking action at work, what lessons they have learnt from this and what else they could be doing to make inclusion the way they work. The aim is to enable human resource leaders to explore how they can advance equality at work.

By examining research, examples, and case studies this workshop provides the hands-on practical experience participants need to apply their learnings. The coaching series provides long-term value by creating transformational subject matter experts who become role models of inclusivity, live the organisational values, empower others, and realise a vision for creating an inclusive workplace of the future. Inclusion coaching enables leaders to examine their most deep-seated beliefs about inequality.

Maternity and
Paternity Coaching

The transition into parenthood is an exciting one. When employees become mothers and fathers for the first time it can be challenging to navigate the career transition.  Through a series of four maternity and paternity coaching sessions, we provide mothers and fathers with the support they need to take leave and return to work effectively. We provide mothers and fathers with the skills, confidence and support they need to manage the exciting journey into parenthood.

Why Equality Forward?

We measure DEI

The starting point for working together is for us to better understand how DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) is being practised within your organisation. Through our Leadership Equality Index™ and Culture Equality Index™, we measure employees’ experiences of inequality when it comes to policies, processes, practices and personal beliefs. This provides a baseline of your inclusive workplace culture, which helps to establish the business case for why change is needed.

We have the DEI solutions that work

Once we have the baseline, our goal is to develop customised programs to address the specific needs your organisation has. Our goal is to ensure any program is owned and led by your organisation. Drawing on our substantive experience we will work with your diversity and inclusion team to customise and create the educational content to meet the needs of your employees.

We create measurement tools and programs your company can own and deliver

We create programs designed for every organisation. We partner through train-the-trainer programs to deliver these learning solutions on a global scale both in person and virtually. As part of the program development, we will create resources, toolkits, exercises, and workbooks that organisations can continually use as well as provide access to our online learning platform, which includes audio, video and written content that employees can access to continue their learning journey.

We build your DEI capability

Our aim with any initiative is to ensure sustainable change - as such, we provide train-the-trainer sessions for leaders, human resource teams and diversity and inclusion teams within your organisation. This will ensure that your subject matter experts are equipped to deliver ongoing impact.

We are your long-term partner

We provide a range of options to ensure every workplace regardless of size has access to ongoing DEI support, coaching, feedback and development. We provide leaders and human resource and diversity and inclusion teams with the inclusion coaching they need to transform their organisational culture.
